11-Year-Old Saver Wins iPad From Bank
11-year-old customer Zion Simmons is the winner of a new Apple iPad, courtesy of The Bank of N.T. Butterfield & Son Limited annual Young Savers campaign in Bermuda.
This summer, every new young person who opened a Young Savers account was automatically entered into a draw to win the iPad.
Sean Lee, Executive Vice President and Head of Bermuda Retail Banking presented the gift to an excited Zion, who held a tight grip on the iPad during the photo shoot.
“We are delighted to award this prize to Zion,” Mr. Lee said. “This promotion is proof that saving with Butterfield can be very rewarding!”
A very well deserved winner, Zion Simmons has been featured on Bernews before. Along with both his Cub Scout pack and school, Zion donated time to sell tags to assist charity. The young student, then Victor Scott’s Head Boy, informed us that as the school head boy it is his responsibility to help the community.
I think you meant to say Dellwood Middle School ( you know the shirt has the initials DMS) I do not think that the young man does to Victor Scott.
Congrats to the young man, may he continue to strive for the best!
Actually, Zion did at the time of the article referenced, it was a Victor Scott group that did the fundraising…
Should’ve read the article clearer…apologies…
No, no problem….
I just recall it so well, I stopped at Harrington Hundreds and asked him why he was helping out.
He very seriously explained it was as he is Head Boy and it was his duty to help the community. Was so nice it stuck right in my head, I recalled him the moment I saw this pic. Great kid…
