Arnold Manders Resigns From Cricket Board

The Bermuda Cricket Board confirmed that well known cricketer Mr. Arnold Manders has resigned from his position of Director of Cricket Development effective yesterday [Oct 31].

In the past three years Mr. Manders has played a major role in the development of cricket in Bermuda. Mr. Manders started the popular Pee Wee “Have-a-Go” Cricket Programme, the U8 league and the Girls Development Programme and managed the BCB National Programmes. Mr. Manders has overseen the building of net facilities at Berkeley Institute and infrastructure improvements at all local clubs across the island including providing five new rollers. Mr. Manders was part of the management team who coached the U19 National Team when they qualified to play in the ICC U19 World Cup.
