“BDA” Hair Design For International Tournament
18-year-old Bermudian basketballer Tere Pavy-Roban will join his ‘Bermuda Red’ team and take to the court at 1:30pm today [Nov 26] to take on a Las Vegas High school team visiting as part of the Basketball Thanksgiving Classic. Leaving no doubt who is is on the court representing, the teenage basketballer has etched the words “BDA” on one side of his head, with “RED” on the other. He has been playing basketball since early primary school, and says he get a hair design everytime he has a big basketball event.
The Bermuda Red play Durango High from Las Vegas, Nevada at 1:30pm today at the Berkeley Institute. Three Bermuda teams, made up off the island’s top players, will take on visiting teams from both the USA and Canada. Riley’s Metro Prep’s, Durango High and Chaparral High out of Las Vegas, Georgetown Prep from Maryland, and Georgetown District High from Ontario have all traveled to compete in the first annual Bermuda Thanksgiving Classic.
