CMN Donation Towards Infant Warming Cart Scale

November 22, 2010

CMN recently made a donation to the Bermuda Hospitals Board towards the purchase of a new infant warming cart scale which will be used at King Edward VII Memorial Hospital. The new warming scale will help protect newborn babies against sudden heat loss and ensure that they are comfortable while being weighed for the first time.

For over 10 years, CMN has had the privilege of working with a variety of Bermudian insurance and government programs by assisting citizens of Bermuda when overseas medical services are required.

“We would like to thank CMN for their kind donation,” says David Hill, Chief Executive Officer, Bermuda Hospitals Board. “These scales will help us improve the experience for our very youngest patients. It will make the first weigh more comfortable for baby and hopefully reassure parents at a very special moment for the family.”

In addition to this donation, CMN is also pleased to announce their Gold Sponsorship of the Health Financing Summit 2010 taking place November 22nd at the Fairmont Hamilton Princess.

“CMN is honoured to be a gold sponsor of the Health Financing Summit. I would like to congratulate the summit organizing committee on putting to together an excellent agenda of speakers to help address the rising costs of healthcare and its financial impact.” says Lozier.
