Videos: Bermuda Basketball Classic
The 1st Annual Bermuda Thanksgiving Classic got underway today [Nov 26] inside both the Cedarbridge and Berkeley Gymnasiums. In the first match at the Cedarbridge Gym, Metro Prep defeated Bermuda Blue 87 – 14. Interestingly enough, the overseas team features Bermuda’s own Tejour Riley – who was awarded an athletic scholarship to the school. While over at the Berkeley Gymnasium Francis Parker High defeated Chaparral High 59 – 35.
Metro Prep had four players in double figures including Bermuda’s Tejour Riley. Guard Daniel Linton led Metro Prep with 14 points, while Sebastien Micheneau added 12. Tejour Riley and Daemar Thomas both scored 10 points. Mackih McGowan led the Bermuda Blue team with 6 points, while Chris Corday added 5 points and Alex McLoed scored 3 points.
