See below for the operational days of waste management facilities and residential waste collection services during the holiday season:

Residential Waste Collection

• WEST: December 28, 30; January 4, 6;
• EAST: December 29, 31 January 5, 7
• There will be no residential waste collections on Monday, December 27.

Recycling Collections

• Recycling collections are not affected.
• WEST: December 30; January 6
• EAST: December 31; January 7

Tynes Bay Waste-to-Energy Facility

• CLOSED ON: December 25, 26, 27;
• CLOSED ON: January 1, 3
• OPEN ON: December 28

Tynes Bay Public Drop-off

• Open as normal from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.

Airport Waste Management Facility and Marsh Folly Compost Facility

• CLOSED ON: December 25, 27, 28;
• CLOSED ON: January 1, 3
