Armed Robbery on Railway Trail
Yesterday evening [Dec 19] a man was robbed by two men carrying what is believed to be gun.
The Police responded to a report of a firearms incident that took place at 7:40pm. A Police spokesman said that “The complainant states that he was on the Railway Trail in Sandys in the area of the Somerset Seventh-day Adventist church when he was approached by two males on a cycle. The suspects produced what is believed to be a firearm and made demands of money. The subjects then took an undisclosed amount of cash from the victim and made good their escape.”
Police inquiries are underway, and Police are appealing for witnesses or anyone with any information to contact Western CIU on 234-1010.
