BELCO Working to Restore Power
BELCO says they “appreciate customers’ patience and understanding as crews work to restore power supply following a series of squalls and consistent gale force winds that have battered the Island since 5p.m. Monday evening.”
“The weather forecast calls for continued gale force wind through tomorrow (Wednesday), and BELCO expects that crews will continue to be busy throughout the period as affected customers are restored and new outages are reported with each passing squall. The outages are being caused by driving rain, high winds and flying debris as squalls pass through. Once again, thank you for your patience and thank you to the BELCO crews who are working hard to get power back to everyone.”
