Photos: St. George’s Colts v St. David’s
Yesterday [Dec 27] St. George’s Colts beat St David’s 6-1 at the Wellington Oval in the Premier Development League Christmas Tournament.
St. George’s Colts took the lead in the sixth minute when Marcus Anderson scored. Clay Darrell doubled the lead in the 14th minute when he outpaced the St. David’s defense and beat the advancing goalkeeper.
St. David’s pulled a goal back five minutes into the second half, when Shakil Robinson scored, Anderson restored the St. George’s Colts two goal lead in the 56th minute, before Darrell added his second of the game in the 60th minute. Jahron Dickinson made it 5 – 1 to the St. George’s Colts in the 62nd minute and then Wolde Jones made it 6 – 1 to the St. George’s Colts with a powerful shot that went in off the crossbar.
