Squash Player in Canadian Consolation Finals
Local squash player Micah Franklin has advanced to the Under 19 Division Consolation Finals of the 2010 Canadian Junior Open.
In his quarter-Final match Franklin defeated Jason Byrne from South Africa in straight sets 11 – 7, 11 – 0, 11 – 4.
In his Semi-Final match Franklin defeated James Keene from Canada 2 – 1. Franklin won the first set 11 – 7, but went down in the second set 11 – 6. Franklin then won the all important third and final set 11 – 7 to advance to the final.
