BBA Sunday Mountain Biking Results
Wet and very windy conditions dictated the Bermuda Bicycle Association’s Conrad’s Mountain Bike Series race at Ft. Scaur this morning [Jan 23], keeping the number of participants down. The weather made for difficult cycling conditions on the section of the course approaching the top of the Ft. Scaur Park property where the full force of the gusts pushed riders off the course.
For the second week in a row Neil de Ste Croix won the Men’s A race with Grant Goudge left to chase after two small crashes and Peter Dunne finishing third. Dexter Swan continued to dominate the Men’s B category ahead of Hans Hirshi and Scott Mello rounding out the podium. Daniel Oatley was the sole competitor in the 13-16 year old race and brother Christian finished ahead of Ryan Day in the 12 & under group.
