Estwanik & Fiddick Win 2011 Fairmont Race
Chris Estwanik and Victoria Fiddick won the 2011 Fairmont to Fairmont Road Race this morning [Jan 9]. Mr. Estwanik completed the course almost three minutes ahead of the next finisher in a time of 37.54, while Ms. Fiddick finished in a time of 49.30.
Stephen Allen finished second overall in a time of 40.39, while Sean Trott was the third overall finisher in a time of 41.02.
Mr Estwanik’s wife Ashley, the defending May 24th champion and record holder, struggled early in the race with what we understand was a left leg injury. We will update with fill results as able.
The 34th annual Fairmont to Fairmont road race takes runners on a 7.2 mile course between the two landmark hotels, and marks the beginning of the running year. Proceeds from the race will be donated to The Friends of Hope Academy, the charitable organisation affiliated with Dame Marjorie Bean Academy
