Notice: Tynes Bay Bulky Waste Shear
The Tynes Bay Bulky Waste Shear will be shut down for maintenance from January 24th to February 14th, 2011.
During this period bulky commercial waste such as furniture, lumber, pallets etc will not be accepted at the plant.
The public drop off will still accept residential bulky waste during this time but residents are encouraged to bring as little as possible.
A spokesman said: “We would like to encourage both commercial operators and residents to bring as much bulky waste as possible before the closure date so that there will be minimal backlog once the facility is restored to service.”
