Upcoming: 2011 Mountain Biking Season
The Bermuda Bicycle Association’s [BBA] 2011 mountain biking season will get underway with the inaugural End To End Mountain Bike [MTB] Race this coming Sunday [Jan 9].
Starting at 9:30 in front of the Clocktower in Dockyard, participants will mainly follow the Railway Trail to Ferry Reach Park in St. George’s with a few technical detours along the way.
Organizers said: “This Sunday’s race is the first of it’s kind and should be an interesting tell-tale of who is fit for the three month off road season.”
The season is comprised of 8 races in the Conrad’s MTB Series, the End To End, the 4 Hour Bicycle Works Endurance Race and concludes with the Winners Edge MTB Championship Race on March 27th.
