Despite storm force winds yesterday [Feb 20], flights to the Island were not affected with both private and commerical jets arriving and departing as normal.
The Bermuda Weather Service recorded a peak wind gust of 76 knots yesterday, which translates to around 87.5 miles per hour or 140km per hour. The gale force winds eased by midnight, however the Bermuda Weather Servuce said a gale warning will be valid for late tonight through Tuesday evening.
