Accident: Police Confirm Death of 49-Yr-Old Man
[Updated] Just before 6pm this evening [Apr.7] a motorcyclist was involved in serious road traffic collision on Middle Road in Devonshire. Both Police and the Fire Service attended the scene, which is presently taped off, with traffic being diverted.
The motorcyclist, a 49-year-old Devonshire man, was rushed to King Edward Memorial Hospital, and where he is listed in critical condition. The Police have asked that those who plan to travel along that section of Middle Road make alternate arrangements as the road is cordoned off.
Update: 7:18pm: Police Spokesman Dwayne Caines has confirmed the gentleman has been pronounced dead.

Police responded to a report of a road traffic collision that took place at 6pm on Middle Road and Parsons Lane. As a result a 49 year old Devonshire man was taken to King Edward Memorial Hospital where he was subsequently pronounced dead. No further information will be given until the next of kin has been notified.

Update April 8: The Bermuda Police Service have identified the victim as Timothy Joseph Pedro of Sousa Estate Road in Devonshire. They have also asked that anyone that may have seen this collision to please contact PC Steven Darrell on 299-4388.
