Witness Appeal: Murder of Jason Smith
The Police have appealed for witnesses or anyone with any information regarding the murder of 22 year old Lance Corporal Jason Smith, which occurred on May 1st 2011 in the Overview Hill, Pembroke area.
A well rounded young man, Mr Smith attended Saltus Grammar School locally before heading off to college, played football for the PHC Zebras and served in the Bermuda Regiment, volunteering for the NCO cadre and attaining the rank of Lance Corporal. The Police have said they believe Mr Smith may have been murdered in a case of mistaken identity.

The Bermuda Police Service is continuing to appeal for witnesses or anyone with any information regarding the murder of 22 year old Jason Smith, which occurred around 3:50am Sunday, May 1st 2011 in the Overview Hill, Pembroke area.
In particular detectives are interested in speaking with any persons that saw or may have information about a suspicious vehicle, person(s) or activity in the area of Overview Hill, Vaucrossons Crescent and Mount Hill between the hours of 2am and 5am on Sunday, May 1st 2011.
The Bermuda Police Service would like to thank those members of the community who have assisted with the investigation so far.
