Golf Open Championships: Day #3 Results
The third day of the 2011 Bermuda Open Championships was held yesterday [June 18], and saw Ebonie Burgess withdraw with a slight injury to wrist, which blew the women’s division wide open. US Professional Jordan Mitchell fires a superb 2 under 69. Professional Division US Professional Jordan Mitchell recorded the best score of the
tournament, a 2 under 69 to take a 5 shot lead going into the final round tomorrow.
Mitchell is at 1 over par, 214 overall. Brennan Webb no doubt will still fancy his chances despite coming in with a 2 over 73 today and at 6, 219 overall. Port Royal has played very tough and is a course that will not give anything away and today’s finish looks set to be exciting. Local Professionals Nick Jones and Daniel Augustus sit at 13 over 226 and will have to go very low tomorrow if they want to have a shot at the title
