Women’s National Academy Cricket Squad

The Bermuda Cricket Board [BCB} announced the players that have been selected to train in the BCB Women’s National Academy Squad.

National Coach David Moore stated, “The BCB is extremely pleased with the progress of the players who have been training regularly under the guidance of the BCBWNA Women’s Coach, Roxell John.”

:The squad selected has an excellent mix of players with both older more experienced players and young players including four selected from the Girls U16 National Academy, which is a credit to Head Coach, Rachael Smith.”

“In addition, I am pleased to note that Precious Smith, who represented Bermuda at ICC Americas Women’s Academy Camp last year, continues to demonstrate constant improvement and has shown herself to be quite a talented young player.”

“This year the Women’s players competed in the BCB Women’s Cricket League, which attracted a number of new players to the game who now train regularly with the BCBWNA. The team are now in preparation for the ICC Regional Qualifier in 2012.”
