Hogges Win 1-0 Against Brooklyn Knights
The Bermuda Hogges last night [July 16] hosted the Brooklyn Knights in a match that would see a scoreless first half at the BAA Field.
The aggressive, hard fought match saw both teams complaining to the referee about tackles.
Shortly after the second half began, the Bermuda Hogges took the lead in the 51st minute when Keishen Bean scored.
Bean, the Hogges leading goalscorer, scored from an Antwan Russell pass and beat Tyler Clarhaut in goal for the Knights.
While cautions were given to six players, the only ejection from the game came in the 85th minute when Roger Lee was sent off the field.
Hogges play their next two games at home hosting Central Jersey and Jersey Express. Those games will be held at the BAA Field on Thursday July 21st and Saturday July 23rd with both games kicking off at 7:00pm.
