Video & Results: Aon National Sprint Triathlon
Evan Naude and Kristyn Tobey won the Bermuda Triathlon Association’s 2011 AON National Sprint Triathlon Championships held this morning [July 3] at Clearwater in St David’s. Evan Naude finished in 1:08:16, Jonathan Herring finished second in 1:09:37, while Travis Cooper finished third in a time of 1:12:40. Video highlights of the triathlon are below:
Ms Tobey finished 6th overall with a time of 1:16:50 to claim the win in the female division, Joanna Shillington was the second female to finish clocking 1:23:25, and Gabriella Arnold rounded out the top three female finishers when she crossed the line in a time of 1:23:36.
The top company team was Tokio Millennium Re Ltd finishing in 1:12:53, with Tokio CEO Tatsuhiko Hoshina finishing up the running leg. The first female team was ‘Carol Dixon’, while ‘Oh God’ won the Open Group. Aptly named ‘Where’s the End?’ finished in 10th place in the Open Group.
