Boldens Sentenced To Community Service

David and Antoinette Bolden were sentenced this afternoon [Aug.19] in Supreme Court. The couple, who ran Emerald Capital International, were ordered to perform 200 hours of community service.

In June 2011 the Boldens were found guilty on one count of misleading the Bermuda Monetary Authority, and acquitted on others charges of theft and money laundering.

    Unless they really do have evidence against EB and they hand it over. Then they should be excused their community service and given a medal.

    I believe everyone is missing the point! Can you remember when last you have heard this charge ever being brought against anybody? How can that be with the international business scandals that have been reported involving Bermuda companies? These involve billions of dollars! Why this case for a paltry lie over $300, thousand dollars. I suggest you get more incensed about the ones that lied to BMA in the millions and billions!!!
