‘Kes The Band’ To Perform In Bermuda

The Bermuda Summer Jam featuring Trinidadian soca group ‘Kes The Band’ will be held on August 27th at Tiger Bay.

Bermuda’s own Pulse will start the show, and will be followed by local DJ Y.G.S. DNice & D’General will get the crowd warmed up to your Soca favorites, which will lead to the main event, Kes The Band.

The promo text on BermudaSummerJam.com says, “Do you remember Byron Lee & The Dragonaires at Tiger Bay?! Well you don’t want to miss this! We are bringing back the highly anticipated, end of summer live event we all enjoyed for over 10 years consecutively!”

“On August 27th, 2011, Bermuda will experience first hand the captivating sounds of Kes The Band!! This group has performed the world over and has received numerous accolades both in the pop and soca scenes.”

“This year they will perform you their Carnival 2011 smash hit Wotless, Where Yuh From and more! They will also bring with them their vibrant band and dancers to entertain and keep you moving to the music!”

“Also featured for Bermuda Jam 2011 is Bermuda own local band and DJs DNice & D’General. They will get you warmed up and ready for the main event! There will be plenty of give aways courtesy of our sponsors, so be sure and get there early!”

“The first 1,000 through the gate will get a free “rag” to wave all night long, and whistle. Digicel will also give away a BlackBerry Torch.”

Tickets – which range from $40 to $70 – are available online or from all Jamaican Grill locations, Kit & Caboodle or The Edge in Washington Mall. Children ages 12-15 are allowed to come to the show, however, they must be accompanied by an adult. Alcohol will only be served to those 18 years and over with identification.

    Can’t wait for this show!! Kes is nothing like any other band that has been to Bermuda. Definitely worth the money! Bermuda will definitely be entertained!! You won’t see an artist come out on stage and perform 3 songs to a CD at this show!
