Photos: Spectators Enjoy Eastern County
Spectators flocked to the east end yesterday [Aug.13] to witness the Eastern County Cricket Match between Bailey’s Bay Cricket Club and Flatt’s Victoria.
The field was lined with people resting under canopies enjoying the game. Many had coolers filled with iced drinks and hot food to satisfy the appetite. For those who didn’t bring food, there were vendors set up on the grounds serving different menus of delicacies.
Flatt’s Victoria captain Kijuan Franks won the toss and sent the defending champions Bailey’s Bay to bat in their Eastern County match at the Sea Breeze Oval. Bailey’s Bay won by 295 runs – with a final score of Bailey’s Bay 448/6 declared and Flatt’s Victoria 153 all out. Glenn Blakeney was the top scorer of the day with 218.
