Police Appeal: Missing 17-Year-Old Male [Found]
[Updated - teenager has been found] The police have appealed for the public’s assistance in locating 17-year-old Jonathan Burch-Dacosta who was last seen this past Sunday [July 31] in Sandys parish.
A police spokesperson said, “The Bermuda Police Service is appealing for the public’s assistance in locating 17 year old Jonathan Burch-Dacosta who was last seen on Sunday July 31 in the Sandys Parish area.”
“He is described as brown skinned, approximately 5’8” tall of slim build, weighing approximately 150 pounds.”
“He has closely cropped hair, an earring in his right ear, a tattoo of a teardrop under his right eye and a tattoo of a cross on his right arm.”
“Anyone with any information on the whereabouts of 17 year old Jonathan Burch-Dacosta is encouraged to contact the Vulnerable Persons Unit on 295-0011.”
“The public is reminded that harbouring a juvenile is an offence punishable under the law.”
Update Aug 5: A police spokesman said, “The Bermuda Police Service would like to thank the public for their assistance in locating 17 year old Jonathan Burch-Dacosta. The teenager was located yesterday (Thursday, August 4th) safe and well.”

Wow you lot have all the answers and no solutions! He’s 17, maybe in trouble and that’s all we can say is slander. Do any of you know this young man and if so, have you made an attempt to help him turn his life around (if needed) or are you so much better than he. All sin is sin in God’s eyes, so don’t be so selfrighteous. I don’t know nothing about this young man, and I don’t recall his name being in the Courts. Maybe I’m wrong but the cup msy be ‘half full’
*rolling my eyes* give me a break, its tough love he probably needs. I was far from the model child, but I respected my family and the home and abided by the rules. It’s likely he does’nt feel the need to abide by the rules. Why do I say this? because I know a few youngins who are out living with just anybody beacause their parents have stood their ground!

Ok people let’s start with the Tattoo first.. A tear drop that is just an outline and not filled in means he’s lost someone close to him and a fully filled in tear drop means he has killed someone.. These are blood rules from N.J. I don’t kno if he immaitatin as a wanna be but that’s the true meaning of the tear drop as others have made their own meaning.. Moving along I can assure u this young man is safe and sound he hasn’t been home since sunday let’s “Keep it Real” he’s on summer vacation for starters and he’s more than likely over his boys chillin or at a campsite gettin his freak a leak on like its summer who wants to be home all day I used to do the same thing but I was never missing lol parents these days jump the GUN thinkin the worst he’s prob a good kid just still in party mode from the long weekend..
