Report: Mass. Governor Vacationing In Bermuda

According to a news report from the Boston Herald, Massachusetts Governor Deval Patrick plans to embark on a 7-day Bermuda vacation starting tomorrow [Aug.5].

“The Patricks plan to travel to Bermuda for seven days, returning next Thursday when they will head north to Maine to round out the trip before coming back to Massachusetts on Sunday,” said the article.

Governor Patrick is the state’s first African American governor and the second African American to be elected governor of any US state. He is said to be a long time friend of President Barack Obama.
