BAS Ltd Promotes Frank Williams

In a filing with the Bermuda Stock Exchange, Bermuda Aviation Services Limited announced the promotion of Mr. Frank Williams to the position Group Chief Operating Officer of the Company effective 01 September, 2011.

Mr. Williams, having a sound engineering background, educated in England and having worked around the world, started his career with BAS in 2001 working for its subsidiary Bas-Serco. He was responsible for managing BAS-Serco’s Facilities Maintenance division where he proved to be instrumental in growing the company and effecting change.

In 2008, he was then promoted to Vice-President and CEO of BAS-Serco and in 2009 he also accepted the additional responsibility of heading another BAS subsidiary, Otis Bermuda Ltd.

BAS CEO, Ken Joaquin said, “Frank is a welcomed addition to the BAS executive team, his education and varied work experiences make him a strong all round manager. We have every confidence that Frank has the ability to drive opportunistic synergies in the BAS Group of Companies.

    I love this company. They still pay dividends. Better than the banks and local insurance companies. Wish I could get more shares! And they hire and promote Bermudians. Kudos. There should be more like this.
