    Sept.26th, 2011 @ 11:30am?? That was 5 hours ago?!?! I don’t think that is ‘missing’ yet.

  2. confused says:

How is he missing..He’s only been gone since 11:30 :S

    • It is what it is says:

The article clearly states that was “where he was last SEEN” That doesn’t necessarily mean by the person/persons care he was in. It may mean that was the last time he was SEEN/SPOTTED by someone in the community. It has been more than 5 hours. As it has not been made public I cant give the exact amount of hours but know that it is in the “double figures” since he has returned to his place of residence.

      • It is what it is says:

You do realise that you could be MISSING (from where your supposed to be) but SEEN (where you shouldn’t be). As in this case..he is indeed MISSING but has been SEEN…..

    • confused also says:

      same thing im saying!!!!!!!

  3. wondering says:

maybe the 1130 has other details not released. it is 2011 people!! we have to get back to our roots and YES…if you aren’t where u r supposed to be at a certain time…yes u r missing……hope they are ok.i am my brother’s keeper…

  4. It is what it is says:

Devonte I was looking for you today and you were not where you were supposed to be. Your only making it harder for yourself. At the place where you spend the majority of your time during the day there are at least 3 people that you can count on that have your back and you know this!!!! What do we tell you ALL the time??? YOU are accountable for YOUR ACTIONS!! So how are we going to fix this?? If any of your mates read this I want them to have you get in touch with me or any of the other two that you are close with. We only have your best interest at heart!!!I will be making a follow up call to see if you have resurfaced!!!!!

  5. Real Talk 4 real says:

Maybe whoever made the report to police knows him well enough and or the circumtances behind this incident has led them to believe that he could possibly be missing and didn’t want to wait 24 or 48 hours think.Outside the box.

    • Talk2mestr8 says:

@ Real talk 4 real….police do not issue missing person reports before 24 hours…has nothing to do with family or loved ones…Boys where ever you are there are obviously people that care for you! Devonte don’t know you but reading the post by It is what it is, really seems to have your back! Contact this person and let him/her help you!!

  6. Away says:

Damn, I ran away from home and nobody came looking for me…lol. I spent the whole day helping some guy deliver bread…

    • Away says:

      But I was like 17 or 18 sooo…..

      • wondering says:

this is why bermuda is in its state now….kids do things and SOMESOME adults do nothing. famous quote “they’re only kids. leave um alone” then they turn into adults with poor judgement and give the same bad advice to their kids and the cycle continues

  7. Terry says:

No communication. So much for technoligy.

  8. RealTalk says:

I want to know how a 15 year old can be last seen on a Monday at 11:30am wearing blue jeans and he isn’t reported to and/or picked up/questioned by police. If you are a child and it’s Monday at 11:30, you should be in uniform in a classroom somewhere not milling around St. John’s Road in your blue jeans. On the ODD event that you are “home schooled” (and I use that term VERY loosely), a parent should STILL be called to confirm that you are where you are supposed to be. It takes a village, folk.

  9. Whatsupwitchu says:

So many kids going “missing” lately. I feel like its becoming a trend or something more sinister? Im jus saying

  10. outkasted says:

    Ditto!

  11. jdogg says:

here’s a thought- the family or whoever has his ‘back’ obviously hasn’t done something right to have a teen -young teen at that, that thinks its ok to do what they like and go where they like when they like. I was a teen and my mom never had to call the police and issue a statement asking for the COMMUNITY to help find me!!! keep control of your children people- guranteed these boys ever end up in court there mamas will be the same ones paying there canteen like its fine!

    • Talk2mestr8 says:

So you had it good….so did my brother and I. My two boys didn’t!! Divorced there father – ugly divorce. They acted out. I had nowhere to turn – or so I thought. Finally went to Child and Family Services…they were hard on me, but I took it. Both boys were put in the boys’ home. Their father had a problem with it….the only problem i had was getting a phone call saying the were locked up or dead – so I made the hard decision of putting them there. Now two years later the are back home, one graduated from high school and the other in his senior year. Both doing well….and know they can count on me – no matter the issue!!

So you see jdogg, it is not as easy as you think!! Yes I agree their are some parents who don’t give a damn, but there are many who want help, but don’t know where to start!! While looking their kids fall by the way side…Until you can walk in any of our shoes, I suggest you stop judging people!!

      • jdogg says:

walk in your shoes- you don’t even know me to say that- i didn’t have it easy i just knew i would get a CUT A– if i did something like that…instead of babying them they need consequences=thats the whole problem with the youth nowadays and here are two more shining examples that are following in the gun toting wanna-bes wreaking havoc on our island. Sorry to hear about your situation…not sure what it has to do with me or my opinion that these two boys clearly need some more discipline in their lives.

  12. Margaret says:

If you have NO idea what the circumstances are,how can you comment? A child is missing, if you see him report it to the police. End of story. SMH!
