Ladies & Men’s Rugby Results
The Bermuda Rugby Football Union season continued at the Warwick Academy School Field yesterday [Oct.29], with the Renegades Ladies defeating the Teacher Ladies 3 – 1.
Laura Haynes scored twice for the Renegades Ladies, while Jasmin Teaflower added the other, Katie Wright scored the lone Try for the Teachers Ladies.
Amanda Swan scored four Try’s for the Mariners Ladies as they defeated the Police Ladies 4 – 2, Mika Tomita and Lauren Wilson scored a Try each for the Police Ladies.
In men’s action the Mariners defeated the Police 24 – 11. Allan Steynor scored two Try’s for the Marines while Johnny Peacock added the other.
Tim Peplow kicked three Conversions and also added a Penalty, while Neville Zuill scored a Try for Police and Michael Kane kicked two Penalties.
Ian Henderson scored a try, kicked a Penalty and also had a Drop Kick as he helped the Renegades defeat the Teachers 1 6 – 14. Angus Warnoch added the other Try, Brian Desmound and Andre Landy both scored a Try each for the Teachers, while Chris Naylor kicked two Conversions.
Disappointing results for the Police RFC. Well played Mariners!
