Upcoming: Final Bermuda Nights Event
The Bermuda Department of Tourism [BDOT] is hosting the final Bermuda Nights concert on Saturday October 15, at Barr’s Bay Park in Hamilton. The free concert series has been running bi-weekly since June 11, and has attracted thousands of visitors and residents.
According to the BDOT, the season ending concert is one that should not be missed, as it will feature a high energy entertainment line-up which includes the Steel Pan Orchestra, Djata, Capoeria Camara, Jahstice, Sia Spence & Da Business, Troika, Hindsite and H&H Gombeys.
The Minister of Business Development and Tourism Patrice Minors said, “We have been thrilled by the number of visitors and residents who made their way to Barr’s Bay Park to hear the best in Bermudian entertainment.”
“And the feedback we received from hotels and guest properties was extremely positive. Visitors vacationing in Bermuda were pleased with the added-value of a free concert featuring local entertainment and we anticipate that we will host this event again next year.”
Saturday’s concert will start at 7.00 p.m. to accommodate the full line-up. The BDOT thanked the co-sponsors of the event which include the Corporation of Hamilton, Spanish Town Entertainment, and Dockyard Glassworks, Gosling’s and Gunners Café.
