Gale Warning In Effect This Weekend

National Security Minister this afternoon [Nov. 4] advised the public to keep an eye on the weather as a Gale Warning has been issued for Saturday night and Sunday by the Bermuda Weather Service.

A statement issued said, “Winds are expected to reach between 30 and 40 knots from the East and Southeast with gusts of up to 50 knots. Long periods of rain are expected on Saturday and seas can be expected to reach 20 feet on Sunday. At this time, there is low potential for additional strengthening.”
