Videos/Results: Harness Pony Racing
In yesterday’s [Nov.13] Harness Pony Racing at the National Equestrian Center on Vesey Street, Colin Mello and Big Red Machine came within o.1 of a second to equaling the track record that they set during the last race day.
Running in Heat Eight in the 1:04/4 and Faster A Class Mello and big Red Machine was clocked at 1:02/1 with the track record being 1:02 flat. In the same race CJ Whited in the bike of Black and Mild finished second with a time of 1:05/2, Captain Progress with Jason Lopes finished third in 1:05/4 and GV Crystal Ball finished 4th clocking 1:06/4.
In the 1:09/4 to 1:11/4 Class Heat 2, What A Sensation with Andy Stoneham in the bike finished first with a time of 1:09/4, Red Grand with Samantha Hayward finished second clocking 1:10 flat, GV Speed Demon was third in a time of 1:10/1 and Just Call Me Willie with Arthur Hurst finished fourth clocking 1:10/3.
In Heat 3 the 1:05 – 1:06/1 B Class Darrico Clarke in the bike of Sure Grand finished first in a time of 1:08 flat, Arnold Manders and Down Home Punch finished second with a time of 1:08/1, while Cameron Harris in the bike of Track Patrol finished third clocking 1:08/2 and Fantastic Five with Johnny Five in the Bike finished fourth clocking 1:08/2.
