Analysts Upgrade Bermuda’s Platinum
Bermuda’s Platinum Underwriters was upgraded by equities research analysts at Zacks Investment Research from an “underperform” rating to a “neutral” rating in a research note issued to investors today [Dec.14].
Separately, analysts at Credit Suisse initiated coverage on shares of Platinum Underwriters in a research note to investors last Wednesday [Dec. 7]. They set a “neutral” rating on the stock.
Platinum Underwriters Holdings, Ltd. is a Bermuda-based holding company. Through its subsidiaries, Platinum Underwriters Bermuda, Ltd. and Platinum Underwriters Reinsurance, Inc., the company provides property and marine, casualty and finite risk reinsurance coverages, through reinsurance intermediaries, to a varied clientele of commercial and personal lines insurers and select reinsurers on a worldwide basis.
