East End ‘Art In The Park’ Event

Spend Sunday in the park with art at the East End today [Dec.4].

A second “Art In The Park” event is being staged in Somers Garden from 10 am until 4 pm following the success of the inaugural open-air exhibit in the summer. Future events are scheduled to take place three times a year.

Arts, crafts and other items by Christopher Grimes, Alexandra Mosher, Milton Hill, Calix Smith, Vanese Gordon, Jennifer Wills, Ami Zanders and Heidi Cowan and other local artists will be for sale.

“Do not miss this incredible event with music, art, crafts and even food,” said artist Tricia Walters, who organised the event with the Corporation of St. George’s. “Make a day of it and bring the kids – we will have a table set up just for these budding young artists to draw, paint and be creative.

“Then drop by the Olde Towne Market from 2 pm to 4 pm. What a great weekend to be in the East End.”
