Phillips Tops Stats In Slovakian Win

Sullivan Phillips led his team in scoring, assists and steals as his Prievidza Team won their twelfth game of the Slovakia’s Men’s National Basketball Season with a five point win over Nova Ves.

Prievidza jumped out to a seven point first quarter lead with the score 25 – 18 when the buzzer went off, however Nova Ves scored 25 points in the second quarter and restricted Prievidza to 13 points to lead 43 – 40 at the half.

Nova Ves outscored Prievidza 24 – 20 in the third quarter to make the score 67 – 60, but Phillips and Prievidza outscored Nova Ves 32 – 20 in the final period to earn the 92 – 87 win.

Phillips played 34 minutes of action leading his team in scoring, assists and steals. Phillips went 5-of-9 from the field, 0-of-1 from the three point line, and 16-of-19 from the free throw line for his game high 26 points. Phillips also grabbed 6 rebounds, had 11 assists, 6 steals and 1 blocked shot.
