Wilson To Take Helm At Sirius America
Sirius International Insurance Group, Ltd., the reinsurance unit of Bermuda’s White Mountains Insurance Group, Ltd., announced today [Dec. 19] the retirement of Dwight Evans, President and CEO of Sirius America Insurance Company, effective December 31, 2011.
Dan Wilson, currently Chief Operating Officer of Sirius America, will become President and CEO of Sirius America.
Mr. Evans will continue to advise Sirius Group on underwriting and other matters through the end of 2013.
Mr. Wilson joined Sirius America in 1996 as Chief Claims Officer. Before becoming the Chief Operating Officer of Sirius America in 2009, he was President and CEO of the Sirius Global Services operations.
Prior to joining Sirius America, he was employed by American Re-Insurance Company, CIGNA and Liberty Mutual.
