[Updated with video] The Bermuda Hockey Federation League match played on grass for the first time in some eight years produced five goals. The Canaries took the lead in the 13th minute when Rebecca Gibson scored a field goal. Emma Calow doubled the lead with a field goal in the 32nd minute.
Gibson then scored her second goal of the game in the 55th minute when she scored from a penalty corner. Maria Alvarez made it 4 – 0 to the Canaries in the 60th minute when she scored from a field goal and then Marie Taylor closed out the scoring with a field goal in the 68th minute. Final Result: Canaries 5 Longtails Canaries 0
In the second game today, the Wildcats went in front in the 17th minute when Eva Dillas scored from a penalty stroke. Susanna Almeida then scored from a penalty corner in the 32nd minute as the Wildcats defeated the Swallows. Final Result: Swallows 0 Wildcats 2
