Ferry Reach Mountain Bike Results
The seventh mountain bike race of The Latter Rain Water Service Race Series took place yesterday [Feb.26] at Ferry Reach Park.
Forty–four brave riders came out to despite the blustery and cold conditions on the 2-mile course. This week the course was raced in reverse of previous races, challenging the riders at every turn.
In Men’s A Class, Dominic Mayho continued his domination of the class, followed closely by Mark Hatherly and in Peter Dunne third.
In Men’s B Class, Daniel Oatley used his technical expertise to take class honors, followed by Macio Talbot in second and James Holloway in third.
In the Men’s Novice category, Kyle Adams showed he has the skills to take the class, followed by Barry Brewer in second and Philando Hill in third.
Sarah Jordan took honors in the Women’s B class and in the Female Junior Division, 13-16 years, Gabriella Arnold held off Elizabeth Jordan for the win.
In the Male Junior Division, 13-16 years, Daniel Hetzel took class honors, followed by Christian Oatley and Robin Horsfield in third. In the 12 and under class, Mathew Oliveira had a strong finish over Alex Bordage in second and Alex Aroujo in third.
The Latter Rain Water Service Racing Series continues next Sunday, March 4, 2012 at Admiralty House starting at 8:45am.
