Photos: One Love Bob Marley Festival

In celebration of what would have been his 67th birthday, organizers are inviting the public to the One Love Bob Marley Festival at Barr’s Park. The festival started yesterday [Feb.3] and continues today.

There is a full lineup of entertainment and activities planned and will include live entertainment, Marley Club [bar & VIP Club], unreleased Marley footage on a big screen, Bob Marley memorabilia, open flea market, food court, Ital & vegan food vendors, Bermudian & Caribbean food vendors, baked goods, Marley Beatz Box [music downloads, ringtones, internet options], lifestyle workshops, six-a-side football tournament and a Kid Zone.

Attendees are being asked to bring in either two cans of nonperishable goods, or two pieces of clothing and/or shoes [winter/spring] that are in excellent condition. These items will be donated to families in need.

    Well folks, the government wants workers to take an imaginary 8% “pay cut”, Burgess is on the ropes because he can’t understand why he should be ethical and honest, and here we have a report on…a One Love Festival. How nice.

    @ Rick Rock: So if the police came along and found a pound of weed in your mailbox and you know that you had nothing to do with it and was about to be charged, your telling the public that you wouldn’t fight the case… And then you all complain about the government bringing in advisers for all this money and still make a stink about it when our own people advise… WTF
