Upcoming: Summer Camp Fair
The Saltus Association will host their annual “Summer Camp and Activities Fair” on Friday, March 2nd 5-7pm at the Saltus Junior Hall. This event is open to the public.
The goal of the fair is to encourage parents to start thinking about summer now before camps and summer programs fill up. This resource fair will offer information on more than 25 summer camps for young people of all ages.
“This is a wonderful opportunity to learn about the wide variety of summer camps and programmes offered in Bermuda” says Deborah Titterton Narraway, Saltus Association member “Summer camp is like a rite of passage for most children and finding a good fit will ensure your child has a wonderful experience this summer.”
Many camps begin accepting applications in March, with several offering lower rates if booked early. The Saltus Summer Camp Fair is an excellent opportunity to meet and speak with the people who run these camps.
Ask the question on your mind: Does the camp offer the variety of activities my child likes? Do they participate in the Bermuda Cancer and Health Centre’s SunSmart Accreditation programme? Are their counselors CPR certified?
Admission is free and this event is open to the public, please note that parking is available at Bulls Head. In addition to the resource tables, there will be light refreshments. If you are a camp or program that would like to have a resource table at the fair, please email pta@saltus.bm.
