IronHealth Teams With Reputation Partners
IronHealth, the specialty health care division of Bermuda re/insurer Ironshore Inc., yesterday [Mar.28] announced a partnership with Reputation Partners L.L.C. to offer its risk management services for financial and operational health care crises.
The corporate communications consultancy will be considered a preferred vendor for IronHealth clients, which means they can receive discounted rates, Ironshore said Wednesday.
“IronHealth is pleased to collaborate with Reputation Partners to provide our clients with the strategic communications counsel necessary to address social media exposures,” said Matt Dolan, president of Connecticut-based IronHealth, in a statement. “We pride ourselves on offering a range of specialty services to help clients manage all manners of risk, and Reputation Partners’ crisis management expertise enhances our ability to do so more effectively.”
IronHealth’s hospital professional liability program offers an annual allowance set aside to cover approved risk management expenses from either existing providers or IronHealth’s preferred providers.
This fund also can be used for Reputation Partners’ proactive services to minimize or anticipate potential problems before they happen, Mr. Dolan said in the statement.
Chicago-based Reputation Partners works on high-profile issues for companies in health care systems, such as hospitals, nursing homes, medical device manufacturers, disease management, and pharmaceutical companies. It regularly deals with employee and labor disputes, corporate communications and social responsibility issues.
Ironshore was set up in Bermuda in 2007 by Robert Clements and John Clements through their investment vehicle, Tara Partners Fund LLC, and Ironshore management.
The company’s founding investors weree Bear Stearns Merchant Banking, Corporate Partners [a business unit of Lazard Alternative Investments], Fremont Partners, TowerBrook Capital Partners and Greenhill Capital Partners. Integro Ltd., a leading global insurance broker that focuses primarily on buyers of insurance with large and/or complex risks, was a sponsor of Ironshore.
