BF&M Announces Customer Wellness Week

BF&M is getting set to hold a ‘Wellness Week’ initiative for its health insurance customers, featuring free fitness classes, activities, giveaways, and more.

A spokesperson said, “BF&M is thrilled to announce its first Wellness Week for its health insurance customers to attend. The event takes place from June 26th to June 30th in Barr’s Bay Park. The event will run daily from 11:00am to 2:00pm, promising to be a week-long celebration of health and wellbeing, featuring free fitness classes, activities, giveaways, and more.”

Michelle Jackson, EVP Group Head of Life, Health and Pensions at BF&M, said, “We are excited to host BF&M Wellness Week as part of our commitment to promoting health and wellness in our community.

“This event offers a unique opportunity for individuals of all ages to come together, learn, and engage in activities that support their well-being. We encourage everyone to join us for a week filled with inspiration, education, and fun!”

BF&M Announce Wellness Week For Customers June 2023

The spokesperson said, “Each day of the week will have a unique theme, ensuring that there is something for everyone to enjoy. The schedule is as follows:

  • Mindfulness Monday: Start the week off right by embracing the power of mindfulness. Participants will have the opportunity to engage in relaxing activities such as yoga, pilates and painting workshops.
  • Men’s Health Tuesday: Recognising the importance of men’s health, Tuesday will focus on raising awareness and providing resources for men to lead healthier lives. Fitness classes such as spinning and circuit training.
  • Wellness Wednesday: Midweek, attendees can explore various aspects of wellness, including nutrition, mental health, and physical health. We will be offering complementary massages, along with yoga, HIIT and body combat classes.
  • Women’s Health Thursday: Speak with specialists who are passionate about catering to the specific needs of women such as lymph massages, emotional wellness support groups and pelvic floor physiotherapy – which can assist women’s health issues such as incontinence, pelvic pain, pregnancy and post-pregnancy issues. Fitness classes will include thai boxing, spinning and beyond booty which will promise to strengthen both your mind and body!
  • Family Fitness Friday: As the week draws to a close and school is out – BF&M invites families to join! Children are welcome to participate in fitness classes, enjoy engaging activities, and experience the thrill of an inflatable obstacle course.

    Are you kidding? You want to help your customers? Lower your premiums!!!! These insurance companies are sucking this country dry for subpar health coverage. The health care gets worse and yet the costs keep going up! No wonder so many of us are leaving the island.

      Insurance companies to not provide healthcare or set rates for services (although they may cap what is paid for a service). Doctors provide the healthcare and decide what to charge for so doing.

      Simply put , the insurance rates are high thanks to what the Drs are charging.
