St. George’s Colts and Somerset Trojans met up on Sunday [Feb.26] in a Digicel Premier Division game at the Wellington Oval in St. George’s, with the St. George’s Colts walking away with 2 – 1 win.

Jahron Dickinson gave the home team St. George’s Colts the lead early in the first half, Jonathan Bean equalized for the visiting Somerset Trojans minutes before the break to make the half time score 1 – 1. A second half goal from Angelo Cannonier earned the St. George’s Colts a 2 – 1 win over the Somerset Trojans.

Also on Sunday, the Dandy Town Hornets beat Southampton Rangers 2 – 1, in a game which resulted in the Bermuda Referees Association saying they “will not official anymore matches at Southampton Oval until we can get assurances that security and the safety of our officials will be improved.”
