Road Resurfacing Work On Front Street
The City of Hamilton announced that on Sunday March 18, road resurfacing work will take place on Front Street, between the Ferry Terminal and Bermudiana Road.
A statement issued said, “Paving will be done in the eastbound lane only (the north side). The westbound lane will be accessible while work is in progress. Eastbound traffic will be diverted north at Woodbourne Avenue to Gorham Road. Motorists are asked to use caution in this area.
“The public is reminded that work continues at the Court and Front Streets junction as preparations are being made to move the entrance of the Hamilton docks from its current location to create a four-way intersection. Work is in progress to install traffic lights at Court and Front Streets.
“The City will keep the public informed as progress continues at this site.We apologize for any inconvenience these road works may cause.”
