Upcoming: St. George’s Foundation Fun Fair

March 26, 2012

There’ll be a hot time in the Olde Town this weekend because St. George’s plans to be all about fun on Saturday [Mar.31].

The St. George’s Foundation is hosting their Annual Family Fun Fair to be held at the World Heritage Centre on Penno’s Wharf from noon until 6pm.

The giant double lane slide, the Wonder Wheel, Barritt’s bouncy castle, The Olde Towne Railway train, face painting, Dottie the Clown’s Magic Show at 3 pm, refreshments, raffles, the Second-Hand Rose Charity Shoppe and much, much more.

The event is sponsored by Bank of Bermuda Foundation and supported by friends from the community.

At 6 pm the Spring Raffle draw will take place for fabulous prizes including JetBlue Airways flights for two to Boston with two nights hotel accommodation and a dinner for two at the Oriental Mandarin in Boston.

There will be free entrance to the fair, free entrance to the World Heritage Centre and plenty of free parking at Tiger Bay Car Park.

Sharon Jacobs, executive director of the St. George’s Foundation says she’s looking forward to the Fun Day so the organisation can give thanks for year-round support it receives from the Bermuda community.

The Olde Towne Market will be operating on Saturday, March 31 too.
