    Go Team Bermuda!

  2. RME says:

Is it normal to have some of the Carifta events to be held in another country each year? Or is this because we don’t have a pool that meets the required standard/size? Just wondering.

    • MLH says:

CARIFTA Track n Field and CARIFTA Swimming are always held in different countries and usually on back to back weekends but occasionally they do happen on the same weekend. Each year is usually a different country too.
CARIFTA swimming requires a 50 meter pool with an additional 25 meter pool next to it for warm up/cool down. As Bermduda’s new 50meter pool will not have an additional 25 meter pool next to it, Bermuda will not be able to host CARIFTA swimming.
