65-Year-Old Woman Arrested For DUI
A 65-year-old woman was arrested last night for suspicion of impaired driving.
A police spokesperson said, “Around 9:30pm on Wednesday April 4th, police on mobile patrol on Somerset Road in Sandys, noticed a car driving erratically.
“Officers stopped the car on West Side Road and approached the driver, a 65 year old Sandys woman, who appeared to be intoxicated. The Sandys woman was arrested on suspicion of impaired driving.
“She failed the alco-analyser test and was detained in police custody as a result. A court appearance is anticipated in due course.”
