Injury: Jeneko Place Pulls Out Of Carifta

Top local sprinter Jeneko Place has pulled out of the 2012 Carifta Games, having not fully recovered from his hamstring injury he sustained at the National Sports Center.

It was back on February 26th during the Telford Mile the Bermuda Track and Field Association held two events, when the gun went off for the start of the Under 20 Boys 200m race, Place pulled up grabbing his right hamstring.

The teenager has a string of wins behind him; including two medals at the 2010 CARIFTA Games in Cayman Islands, and two medals in the 2010 CAC Jr Games in the Dominican Republic.
