Photos: Good Friday KiteFest At Horseshoe Bay

Kites, local entertainers, Gombeys and the Easter Bunny himself were all visible at Horseshoe Bay yesterday [Apr.6], as Chewstick hosted the Good Friday KiteFest event.

The event was hosted by the United Bermuda Party for many years, with this year the first that Chewstick has arranged the event, with sponsorship provided by the Bermuda Department of Tourism.

With a line up of local entertainment, the event also featured a Kite Competition with categories including Best Traditional Bermuda Kite, Longest Tail, Biggest Kite, Smallest Kite, Best Design, Best Boxy, Most Innovative Kite Design, Highest Kite, Best Stunt Kite Pilot and more, with the only criteria being “that they all have to fly.”
