Photos Set #1: 2012 Carifta Games
Track and field events got underway this morning [Apr.7] in the 2012 Carifta Games being held at the National Stadium.
National pride was on full display with numerous Bermuda flags seen waving in the stands and a large contingent of Bahamas supporters. The Bahamians made their presence known with loud cheers and a band playing music electrifying the crowd.
The Games got underway under bright and sunny skies that soon disappeared and made way for overcast conditions that included a few rain showers. It did not however stop the show as the athletes began chasing their dreams to capture a medal in their relevant events.

Mike Sharp is not even highlighting the Bermuda athletes. This is our home turf our athletes should be showcased.
